I was listening to a podcast today while tackling the never-ending laundry mountain. In the podcast they were talking about how if Google was all you needed to run a business, then EVERY business would be successful.
We of course all know the stats on how just 1 in 10 new businesses fail. So it’s clear it’s not MORE information that we need—what we need is mentorship & empowered freedom to make decisions from our own knowing.
Let’s break that down:
- Mentorship to keep us on track and focused
- Working closely with someone who is not your family or BFF; but because they have expertise and knowledge in an area of your business or life that you are not an expert in.
- Space to make our own decisions wo we can learn to trust ourselves
For me, that meant joining a program with high achieving badass women who are pushing the limits. And a coach that uses major tough love (even when I hate it). This is exactly what I needed to grow this year. But is it what everyone needs?
I work a lot with ambitious and visionary entrepreneurs. They hire me to make them epic content and build ICONIC brands, but that’s not all. Every entrepreneur in my group and 1:1 coaching programs this year have one GIANT thing in common; they are AMAZING at what they do in their industry, but they are not marketing or branding experts.
They are smart enough to know that they need to be leaders in their industry and hire leaders in the industries that they need help with. They reach out to work with me because I am a leader in my industry and because I am very well versed in doing things outside of the box. Not only do they trust that I can help them (because my work speaks for itself); I’ve marketed myself in a way they connect with.
There are thousands of people who make content and teach branding and marketing—there’s only one me.
The people who hire me also want to build a business in a way that is authentic and reflects THEM. They are all individually amazing and unique, but they all have something in common: THE FEARS.
All of the problems people come to me with, whether it’s ghosting social media, creating content that doesn’t reflect their true self, only doing trends for the quick likes and validation, reacting to every internet drama, making it all about THEM instead of their client, inconsistent posting, posts that don’t convert to sales—these all have the same root. It’s scary to be vulnerable and visible.
Every motivated and bad-ass people I work with have the same problems and fears:
“How do I create and consistently post content that reflects who I am in an authentic way while still making money? How do I navigate being more and more widely visible and vulnerable and feel safe enough to push forward?”
You can make content all day long that is cookie cutter and you may even make sales. If you want to have a business that truly reflects YOU, the process gets vulnerable real fast. Tackling this vulnerability is what I focus on in content, in coaching, in social media challenges, and anywhere you do business and take up space.
What’s the solution? Content that SNAPS while being authentic. Mentorship that pushes you to be authentic and brave while holding space for the big feels. A community that cheers you on and pushes you.
How do I support my clients with this?
In a few ways:

One way to combine all these benefits?
